Default What is ideal blind structure for tourney of 25-45 players?

What is best way to figure out the ideal blind structure for a tournament of anywhere from 25-45 players?Currently use $2000 to start10-20, 20-40, 40-80, (1 hr mark - last chance for rebuy take a break color out $10 chips) 50-100, 100-200, 150-300, (color out $25 chips) 200-400, 300-600, 400-800, (color out $100 chips) 500-1000, 1000-2000, I think we keep it at this same level or possibly go to 2000-4000 and keep it at that for all subsequent blind levels. Our structure seems to work but we have added one or two levels (150-300&300-600) to keep it from going too quickly but figured there might be a better structure to use based on number of players.Anyone have ideas on better structure to use? Pros and cons of structure you use?thanksWe generally try to have tournament finish in 3-4 hours. The blind levels are 20 minutes per level.Any structure I use, I would want about the same time to finish so not unhappy with the time. I basically just wondered if a different structure would be a little more consistent with how a tournament is typically run (people playing in my game should go to casino tournament and it should all be familiar)

There is nothing wrong with the structure you are using now. The main thing is to have scheduled levels and raise the blinds in a structured manner, as you are already, to ensure the game keeps moving. The only thing that you left out is the one thing will determine how fast the game goes and that is the time in between each level. It looks like the way you have it set up, the BB is equal to the starting stack ($2,000) at level 10. The only question is, how fast do you want to get to that point? 10 minutes level changes get you there in about an hour and a half. 15 minutes gets you there in about 2 and half hours. It's up to you and your players to determine how fast you want the game to go.

I would add a 30-60 level and also add antes in level 6. Antes are always a better way to speed up the end of a tourney rather than huge blinds at the end. During your 100-200 level I would add in a $25 ante and go up from there.Other than that it is a pretty good structure.
