What do you think of this call in poker and what would you have done?
I was playing in a live poker tournament last night. £30 with 1 rebuy or add on, 5000 chips, 105 players. in about the fifth hand when the blinds were 25-50 i was on the button with AA i raised to 300. The BB called and one more caller. fold comes Ks 6s 3h. big blind bets 200 other player calls i raise to 800 both players call. next card comes 8c. big blind bets 800 other player calls so i raise again to 2500, the big blind calls, at this point i put him on AK. the other player also calls. then the river comes K. i know i'm behind now. the big blind checks and me and the other player both check. big blind turns over KQ and the other player QQ. I just couldn't believe that the KQ had stayed in all the way and i knew i would have folded after the reraise on the turn. the stupid thing is was that he said he put me on AK. So why call !!!! as for the guy with the queens he was just stupid. but would u have stayed in with the KQ. they weren't spades so he didn't have a flush draw.
