I have a quick question. I am going to a 20 pounds rebuy tournament. We all start with 2000 chips and the blinds are 25-50 for 45 mins and then 50-100 for the next 45 mins and so on. The rebuy is unlimited for 1.5 hoursI am wondering what type of hands i should play in the first 2 rounds?

Since this is a rebuy and not a freezeout people tend to play crazy hands until the rebuy period is over...so first tell me how many times you are willing to rebuy? If not a lot, then you will have to wait and play premium hands, pocket pairs, AK, AQ, etc...there's a whole list of the best 20 starting hands etc...

With 45 minutes per level - (are you sure about that?) You can play loosely, play very aggressively because your job at the early rounds is to accumulate chips. You need the extra chips to attack smaller stacks. Without getting into serious mathematics, I would only rebuy if a) the table is also loose and you have a good shot of getting your chips back or b) you can afford another rebuy. But only if those two conditions are met AND you're still in the first blind level (if you rebuy in the second level, you're not going to have enough chips to last very long). Also, if you are at a tough, very conservative table, chips aren't moving around and you're going to have a tougher time getting your chips back. Good luck.
