That answer varies greatly...in general: probably, but there's a lot of variables. How big are the blinds compared to everyone's stack? Was there a pre-flop raise? If so, how much? And did you call or make the raise/bet? What position are you in?The reason it matters is that if no one raised, the likelihood of someone having a piece of that increases. If there's a bet, there's not a lot of hands to play with the cards on the board...pocket pairs and suited connectors. But, you have to feel that if an A or K hits, you're probably the winner ( about 20% of the time) with top pair and top kicker. From that perspective, your 6 outs count. If you raised pre-flop (which I hope you would), definitely take another stab at the pot though.

Yes you do have 6 outs, That's 24% on the flop to make an ace or a king on the next card. But although it is good to know how many live outs you have, i feel it is more important to know the kind of players you are facing and knowing when you can continuation bet after the flop. Cards are a bit meaningless in a situation like that, it comes down to if you are willing to bet at the pot and take it down rather then you only have 6 outs. Playing aggressive, with a reason to be aggressive is more important then counting your outs.
