Default Wheer can I find no limit Texas Holdem strategies online?

Where can I find no limit Holdem lessons and strategies? I want to try this after playing limit for some time. Please give me links (no spamming though) you think would be helpful. Is it true no limit is more profitable than limit poker? Is it better to play short-handed or full table? I play tight/passive but working on being more aggressive. What advice can you give? Thanks.

Well, limit is a good area to start in. I wouldn't suggest no-limit until you are more accustom to the game. Poker is all about reading people, not about the cards. If you can figure out what someone has in their hand, you can grab the table by the kahonas and squeeze them dry. You're not going to learn from reading either, you're going to learn from experience but like I said, you don't want to jump into no-limit without a game plan. If you can't spot the sucker at the table in the first five hands, you are the sucker, and it's immoral to let the sucker keep their chips.

Check out the forums on Poker - Online Poker Strategy - Two Plus Two. Two Plus Two Publishing is responisble for some of the best poker strategy books on the market. No limit can be much more profitable than limit. You can really punish the inside straight and flush chasers that plague the limit games.Personally, I don't think it matters if you play a full table or shorthanded in no limit. Very few pots have more than 2-3 players involved unless you are at a table of maniacs. Most players are not willing to risk their whole stacks w/ maginal starting hands like they would normally play during a limit game. You describe your play as tight/passive. This is the almost the most non-profitable playing style in no limit (just a little bit ahead of loose/passive.) You might show a little profit early on but when the other players pick up on your style they will not pay off your big hands and will bluff you off your marginal hands. For tips on changing your playing style, I suggest picking up the book"The Psychology of Poker"by Alan Schoonmaker&David Sklansky. This helped my play quite a bit.Hope this helps and good luck!
