Default AK overplayed?

Hi guys,
Any comments would be appreciated. I was fifth to act on table of nine with AK in tourney on stars last nite, someone before me had limped so i raised 5x and the button called me and the original limper folded. The flop came Ks 10d 3d so being concerned about the flush draw I made a near pot sized bet and he called. The turn was the 9c, by now there was nearly as much in the pot as was in my stack so I pushed all in and he called withy 10c 9s to have two pair to knock em out of the tourney (river blank). could I have played this hand any better to have not lost all my chips?, any comments would be much appreciated, thanks guys.
