Would you prefer to be a tourney player who is consistently gets ITM but rarely ever makes it to a final table (or near a final table), or a player who has made a considerable number of final tables but often busts out at the bubble?Or, if you're more of a cash game player, would you prefer to be a cash game player who consistently leaves the table with 20-30% more than what you sat down with, or a cash game player who often goes bust but doubles or triples up enough times to be making an overall profit?
