A royal flush consists of 5 cards 10, J, Q, K, A of the same suit.If two people both have a royal flush in the same hand of poker, then there is no winner. The hand is a tie and the pot is split. Suits have no value in poker to break ties in poker hand showdowns. This can happen in draw or stud poker, although the chances of two royal flushes is astronomical. It can also happen when wild cards are used. It cannot happen in Texas Hold em since two royal flushes would require a total of ten cards, and there are only 7 cards used in Texas Hold em.

It's a split pot. Suits would come into play only if the pot couldn't be evenly split. Just for the sake of example, let's say there's $101 dollars in the pot. Spades are considered the highest suit, so if one of the RF's was a Spade RF, that player would $51 of the split, and the other player would get $50. I've never seen two RF's in one hand, before, though I've seen a Royal Flush and a Straight Flush in the same hand once in tournament play. Very rare. If anyone is still learning the game and needs info on tournaments for beginners, here's a great article: Poker Tournament Answers for the Intimidated Beginner - Associated Content
