I don't know that I'd recommend folding with that hand, but I would NEVER consider calling. You're playing this hand because you're playing to win the tourney. Sitting around and grinding out 8th or 7th place gets you nothing; the payout structure favors taking risks to win it all. You want to win a big pot. Calling with AQ in this spot virtually guarantees you'll see the flop three-handed, which is bad for that hand. You want to be heads-up against a smaller pair with a slight advantage, at worst. By just calling you know you'll have two opponents AND you invite at least one of them to apply pressure by pushing in. By going all-in yourself you put the pressure on them to make a decision. Also worth keeping in mind that moreso than you got unlucky, you got LUCKY on the flop. With your suited AQ you have less than a 25% chance to win against 66 and AK and that's assuming none of their cards are spades. Against just the pair you're almost even odds.
