the two answers above me are incorrect. It is probably they only play hold em which is common among poker players, but there is a river card in stud, as in all poker games that are dealth a"final"card. In 5 card stud, the river is the 5th card.. It's always the LAST card you're dealt to each person or on the board.Your question confused me a bit, cuz ou said the 7th card was dealt face up..it's actually dealt face down in regular 7 card stud...but NOw I see that there is a variant...OK now i get it, I think that community card would be a river card (since it's the final). good luck.
