Poker tournament, did i make the right move?
Below is what happened, did i make the right play, would you have done something different?£10 rebuy tournament at local casino. 82 enterants, prize fund of £1900, split from £700 for 1st to £40 for 9th.14 left, six handed table, im in the BB. Blinds are 1000/2000.Play is, FOLD, FOLD, Raise 4000 (28,000 stack) Button raises to 10,000 (40,000 his stack), SB folds, 8000 to me(i have 33,000).I haveAsQs, my first thought was fold as i should final table, then i thought this pot could win me the tourney, i felt the first raiser was weak and would fold, the second raiser was probably on tens or jacks. So i call.Initial raiser pushes all in, next player calls, so i have to call cus of the massive pot.Flop QJ7, i push all in and get the expected call.Original raiser shows 66, other guy shows AK, im well ahead.Turn is a 6 and 66 wins the 70 odd k, i win the loose change.I know the end is unlucky, but any thoughts would be appreciated.
